Our target
This site has been built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Text and interface colours are checked against their backgrounds to meet or exceed the AA contrast thresholds, in both the dark and light themes.
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that is never suppressed.
- The dialog traps focus while open, closes on Escape, and returns focus to the control that opened it.
- Form fields have persistent labels, required fields are marked both visually and programmatically, and validation errors are associated with their field and announced.
- Animation and scroll-triggered reveals are disabled entirely when your system is set to reduce motion. Content is never hidden behind an animation.
- A skip link is the first thing in the tab order on every page, and page structure uses real landmarks and a single logical heading order.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology rather than given invented descriptions.
Known limitations
We test with automated tooling and with keyboard navigation. We have not yet completed a full audit with users of assistive technology, so there may be barriers we have not found. If you hit one, we would genuinely like to know.
Third-party content
Where this site links to websites we do not operate, we cannot control their accessibility.
